Ban Mae Had (2016)

The Ban Mae Had school is a small rural school located on top of a hill in a remote part of Mae Hong Son. Access to the school is only possible via a steep and narrow dirt road that becomes almost impassable in the rainy season. The school had no means to transport food or children, in case of an emergency, other than the scooters of the teachers or farmers. Upon request from the school principle the foundation thus financed the purchase of an offroad truck. The foundation also contributed books to the school’s library and bought sports clothing for the students, whose family lacked the funds to buy such clothes.
