Personal data in connection with awarding donations to beneficiaries
We process personal data (data that directly or indirectly identifies natural persons) that we receive from you, involved third parties or that we collect ourselves that are within the scope of awarding donations to beneficiaries.
Personal data is gathered by Blooming Juniper Foundation when you or other data subjects contact us by email or telephone and apply for a donation. This includes, for example, name and contact details and information about the data subject's financial situation or on whose behalf you or they contact us. We also process personal data that we receive in our correspondence with third parties (namely beneficiaries, other non profti organisations, authorities and courts and their employees or other contact persons) in the context of the application for donations (e.g. name, contact details, date of birth, information on employment, income situation, family circumstances or state of health). We also collect some personal data ourselves, e.g. from public registers or websites.
We process the aforementioned types of personal data primarily in order to get a picture of the living conditions and the financial situation of the applicant so that Blooming Juniper Foundation can decide whether to grant the applicant some donation.
In order to achieve the purposes described in this privacy statement, it may be necessary for us to disclose personal data for instance to the following categories of recipients: External service providers, other non profti organisations, public authorities and courts.
We process personal data within our area of responsibility. However, we may transfer the personal data to recipients (e.g. non profit organisations, authorities etc.) who process the personal data in other countries, including those that do not guarantee a level of data protection comparable to Fürstentum Liechtenstein law. We will do the latter based on consent or standard contractual clauses.
We only store personal data for as long as is necessary to process the awarding of donations, for as long as there is a legal obligation to retain and document the data or for as long as we have an overriding private or public interest in doing so. We take reasonable and proportionate precautions to protect personal data from loss, unauthorised modification or unauthorised access by third parties.
We would like to point out that we use external IT service providers and cloud providers to manage the awarding of donations to beneficiaries. We then use certain IT services as well as means of communication which may be associated with data security risks (e.g. e-mail, video conferencing). It is your responsibility to inform us of your desire for special security measures.
We have a legitimate interest in processing personal data for the purposes stated. Some processing is also necessary so that we can fulfil our obligations towards beneficiaries or fulfill our legal obligations (e.g. storage obligations).
No consent is required from any applicant for donations or other contact persons to the data protection declaration. The data protection declaration is merely information about the nature, scope and purpose of the use of personal data by Blooming Juniper Foundation.

However, please note that conditions and exceptions apply to these rights. Where legally permitted or required, we may refuse requests to exercise these rights. For example, we may or must retain or otherwise continue to process personal data despite a request to delete the personal data or restrict processing for legal reasons.
