The Ban Na Doy hospital is a small hospital in a remote area of Mae Hong Son. The foundation supported the hospital by financing the renovation of the former hospital building so that it may henceforth be used as a temporary abode by patients or relatives. Pregnant women or relatives of patients often stay for several days at the hospital at the hospital because the distance to their villages and the poor state of the dirt roads leading to these villages (particularly during the rainy season) prevent them from travelling back and forth. The foundation also financed the construction of a new emergency room and a new maternity ward.
